It’s October! The States are starting to become a little nippy and the leaves are starting to change. It’s beautiful here in the fall and the colors around us are absolutely amazing. Please remember to take some time this fall to enjoy the nature around you and have a little adventure of your own.
Facing Down the Grizzly Bear
On our recent trip to Alaska, I learned about grizzly bears and how to survive a grizzly attack. We were touring Denali National Park and our Alaskan guide announced to us carefully that a grizzly had just been seen in the area we were in. He gave us clear directions to stay together and joked that we should, in fact, try to circle around him at all times. His main concern though was to impress on us not to run – no matter what.
